Profile

Dr. Divya Sebastian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Sacred Heart College, Thevara from  September 2020. Her expertise is largely in animal and mammalian cancer cell line handling in relation to pharmacology. She did her doctoral studies in “Pharmacognostic standardization and bioassay-guided fractionation of Bauhinia acuminata in relation to anti-lung cancer activity” under the guidance of Dr. Albin Fleming (Loyola college Chennai). Dr. Divya has been a recipient of Maulana Azad fellowship during her doctoral studies.  She secured 1^st rank in MPhil from Loyola College, Chennai.  She has several international publications to her credit and has presented  various  papers in national and international conferences
